Lancing College Chapel Interior - a photo on Flickriver

            This shot from my trip to Lancing College Chapel was taken using a low-cost, fully manual L-mount to PENTAX K-mount lens adapter to mount my trusty Samyang 14mm f/2.8 onto my new Panasonic LUMIX S1R body. I am pretty certain I had the lens stopped down to f/11, but I may not have as the image is not as sharp as it ought to be. I will look into this further as there may be something iffy about the adapter. The image was made from seven bracketed RAW files (-3EV to +3EV). Looking at the result, I should also have applied a -1VE exposure bias to the whole sequence as the window over the alter is very bright. I always find controlling exposure on wide angle lenses challenging and definitely need to work on this skill! Each RAW was denoised using the excellent PRIME noise reduction in DxO PhotoLab 2. They were then ingested by Arora HDR 2019 to form an HDR image. Monochrome conversion and export using Affinity Photo.
