Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan, Scotland - a photo on Flickriver

            The skies were mainly grey and darkening all the while, apart from a brief burst of sunshine illuminating and bringing out the Autumn colours of this tree-covered promontory out on the loch.
Shortly after I took this photograph, the heavens had opened and it was tipping down again.
We had a lot of rain to contend with during our week in the Scottish Highlands, but moments like this more than made up for it.
