two minutes' music - a photo on Flickriver

two minutes' music

            120 second exposure while playing a 45 rpm vinyl disc. I used a 9-stop ND filter to get the long exposure and I fired off a hand-held flash half way through, to give some definition to the cartridge and tone-arm. The music was selected for the colour of the disc! (It's Message in a Bottle by the Police.)
