Bobcat on the Move

While seated in my photo blind in the far corner of our yard, I was firing away as dozens of birds were swooping in for an evening meal of mixed seeds. All of a sudden, the birds vanished and became eerily silent. A few moments later, a Blue Jay sounded the alarm high up in a walnut tree some fifty yards within the dense wooded area to my left.

Without making a sound, this guy came sleeking out of the brush, crossing less than 20 yards in front of my blind. I bleated like a white tail deer in order to get him to stop long enough for this pose. Sometimes, I just get amazingly lucky because I sure never thought I would have the opportunity to photograph this elusive creature.

As for the Geotag- might be off by a few miles.... 😄
