Tesselaar Tulip Festival : Reaching for the sky

            I think this might be my favourite from my first day's shooting. I went as soon as I had a break in work that coincided with a dark / heavy sky... call me mad but I do like heavy skies as all the light is evenly diffused and also there are fewer people to try to exclude from photographs!

Even stopped down to f11 we can't get them all in focus.  I can't imagine trying to use a tripod in order to focus stack... and the flowers move...  I would never find the compositions. But I think it's ok. Well I like it. I might print this one (just have to fix the white tent roof near the bottom right :-))

Again I'd love to hear from experienced flower shooters!
