            Yerro Barry, Head Nurse at the Ould Mbonny Health Centre, in southern Mauritania, underlines the positive contribution of Action Against Hunger in his facility and in the Guidimakha region in fighting against malnutrition.

"We feel the support both at the technical and material levels. But we still face a problem of isolation. The paved road is 10 kilometres away from here and there are children who live behind backwaters and who cannot access the health clinic.
 
This year, we recorded 7 deaths among pregnant women due to isolation and the lack of an ambulance. That is why I welcome the project of mobile clinics which will soon be implemented by Action Against Hunger".
