This is a closer detail of the architectural design of Don Hilario Sunico's house. This bahay-na-bato (in geometric form) was built in the 1880s, it holds significance as the site of the old foundry of Hilario Sunico, who cast the bells of many churches in the country in the late 19th-early 20th century.

Bahay-Na-Bato usually has two to three floors. The house features traditional rooms as well as antique objects the rich used during the 17th to 19th centuries. However, these houses are under threat of demolition or transferring to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar just for the sake of "progress" and "development", so we should stop this to maintain the character of the San Nicolas District.
