Sur le foyer, le chaudron de fabrication du fromage

            Véritable attraction touristique de Château-d'Oex, le restaurant Le Chalet fabrique son fromage "Le Chalet Bio" au feu de bois comme dans les chalets d'alpage.

Devant vos yeux, le fromager en costume traditionnel transforme 160 à 200 litres de lait bio en fromage à pâte dure. Chaque jour, un fromage de 16 à 20 kilos est produit. "Le Chalet Bio" est ensuite affiné en cave environ 5 à 6 mois avant de pouvoir être consommé. Vous pourrez le déguster au travers des différents plats proposés à la carte.

Le Chalet vous offre le spectacle d'une fabrication de fromage artisanale au milieu de son restaurant, tous les jours entre 10h30 et 12h ou sur réservation.
