Het Prinsenhof is een gebouw aan de
Oudezijds Voorburgwal 195-199 in Amsterdam.
Het gebouw heeft in de loop der tijd diverse functies gehad.
Tussen 1652 en 1656 en tussen 1808 en 1988
is het Prinsenhof gebruikt als stadhuis.
In 1988 is het huidige stadhuis (tevens operagebouw) de Stopera aan de Amstel en het Waterlooplein in gebruik genomen.
Daarna werd het gebouw in gebruik genomen als
Sofitel The Grand Amsterdam.

The Prinsenhof is a building on the
Oudezijds Voorburgwal 195-199 in Amsterdam.
The building has had various functions over time.
The Prinsenhof was used as a town hall between
1652 and 1656 and between 1808 and 1988.
In 1988 the current town hall (also opera house)
is the Stopera on the
Amstel and Waterlooplein put into use.
The building was then taken into use as
Sofitel The Grand Amsterdam.
