Nick Leventis - 1960 Ferrari 246 S at the 2016 Silverstone Classic Media Day (Photo 1)

A Wednesday trip down to Silverstone for the Silverstone Classic Media Day was a pleasant way to break up the working week, and given the recent weather, a nice surprise to find it was warmer than anticipated.

I was lucky enough to get an invite down to the world famous home of British racing in Northamptonshire to sample the delights of the Media day in advance of the full weekend at the end of July, and with a number of cars testing for the day, plus an appearance by Freddie Hunt as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of his father winning the Formula 1 World Championship, it was a good precursor to the full event.

I'll post more images, plus possibly one or two of Freddie himself, in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
