Canine Heterochromia iridis in a Goberian

This photo is of my dog Blue, an 83 lb., 2¼ year old white Goberian (½ Golden Retriever & ½ Siberian Husky).

Blue's mother is a Siberian Husky with two blue eyes. His father Kodi is a white Golden Retriever with two dark brown eyes.

Blue and all of his siblings have Heterochromia iridis (Heterochromia iridum), which is latin for different colored eyes. Heterochromia iridis is not uncommon in Siberian Huskies, however seems quite common in Goberians. There are no know related health issues in Huskies or Goberians.

Blue and his brother Harry both have a left Blue eye. Thier brother Dylan has a right blue eye.

Blue and his brother Dylan also both have sectoral heterochromia in one eye. Blue's right eye is approximatley 20% blue and 80% brown. Dylan's left eye is 50% blue & 50% brown.

These are photos of the three white Goberian brothers Blue, Dylan, and Harry when they were nine months old.
