Ingalalla Falls - a photo on Flickriver

Ingalalla Falls

            Waterfalls in South Australia are sparse, rare and fairly umimpressive. In the driest State in the driest Country in the world,  drought and dry creeks are much more common than running water. But this winter,  we have had some decent rain. 

Ingalalla falls are really not well known in Adelaide and pretty much off the beaten track. Its a bit of a clamber and climb to get to where I shot this but it was far from a disappointing trek. 

I found the monochrome helps bring out the eddies and flow lines from the bottom of the falls.
