Pas de voyage à Oman sans un passage par les dunes du désert du Wahiba Sands ...  Les Wahiba Sands, ou Sharqiya Sands, sont une région désertique d'Oman, d'après le nom de la tribu Wahiba. La zone s'étend sur 180 km nord-sud et 80 km est-ouest.
Les Wahiba Sands font partie du Rub al Khali, le grand désert de sable qui s’étend sur le sultanat d’Oman mais aussi sur les Emirats Arabes Unis, l’Arabie Saoudite ou encore le Yémen.
