Follow the Yellow-Buttercup Road - a photo on Flickriver

            Currently the non-native Bulbous Buttercup (Ranunculus bulbosus) is flowering in large numbers along the trails and disturbed areas at the Howard County Conservancy.  It is reported to be poisonous to livestock and I wonder if its success may be partly due to the deer not liking it.
