Grand Marnier Flask (20071124-144206-PJG)

Last night, I attended a NSLC-sponsored Ceilidh with my good friend cage_ee and his son. The Nova Scotia Liquor Commission (NSLC) had a spirits tasting event accompanied by ceilidh music.

I didn't see one private camera in the whole place, and I didn't have mine either.

There were many tables of different spirits available for tasting. The hosts were pouring little samplers, just enough to get a whiff and taste of their wares. It was a great experience, in that I got to sample drinks without having to buy a bottle. Some were definitely not for me.

One of most wonderful of the alcohol there was a 25-50 year old spirit, by Grand Marnier called Marnier Cuvée Cent Ciquentenaire (3 times the cost of the bottle shown here). It was definitely very delightful. I have to thank the distributor last night for this wonderful stainless-steel souvenir, photographed here by me. The flask is about 4 inches, 10 cm across.
