Heron Gone Tomorrow :)) (20080923-110354-PJG)

A few days ago, a friend and I went for a walk in at Mapleton Park in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. As we approached the two marsh lakes, I spotted a cormorant, and wanted to get closer for a better shot. So as we are walking around one of the lakes, I see something out of the corner of my eye in the other lake.

This heron didn't stick around for long, either. I think it is a great blue one.

Sorry I couldn't resist the pun of "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" on these two shots.
