Happy Hump Day! You know what that means - it's time for another camel photo. In our latest video from Images in Focus, Juan and I talk about how you shouldn't just take photos, but rather make photos. That was certainly the case for this image. I wanted an action shot with the camels running across the dunes. I thought it would be most dramatic to shoot into the sun for the rim-lighting look. I needed a spot with a flat area to run along with a tall enough dune right behind for the dark background. We found our spot and I shot them at 300mm, 1/1250th sec, f/8, and ISO 640. This shot ended up being my favorite since the little sand trails kicked up by the camels were all in sync. And you just have to love the little Mongolian boy who was just tall enough to see over the hump!
