60s steam March 1964 WD 2-8-0 90118 Doncaster Plant.

            WD 2-8-0 90118 had been built by the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow in March 1943. After service in Europe was loaned to the LNER and allocated to Mexborough MPD from November 1947. It was purchased by British Railways in September 1949 continuing to work at mainly Mexborough until its final reallocation to Colwick MPD in February 1956. It was withdrawn from Colwick in November 1963 and was removed to oncaster Plant for scrapping in early 1964.
