            Of course the dinosaurs attacked the camp when that screwup Kaplan was on sentry duty (but at least Kaplan was the first one they ate). Of course they attacked in the early morning hours before anyone was awake. Of course, she couldn't get to her gear in the chaos. Of course the first M4 she found jammed almost immediately.

And that is how SSGT Monica Martinez found herself alone, in her pajamas, without coffee, fighting off a vicious dinosaur attack with a bayonet, thinking to herself, "It's going to be one of those weeks, isn't it?"
