we take care of our own - a photo on Flickriver

            One leaf developed abnormally,  but it kept its place among the others, safely suspended above the rushing creek waters and rocks.

I used shutter priority to avoid motion blur from the breeze, and the resulting underexposure gave the leaves a saturation that is really appealing to my eyes.  This is a shaded stretch of trail just adjacent to a footbridge, several pictures in my stream are from this area.
