Zaanse Schans... or meeting at the gate.

Tell me please is it possible to be in Netherlands and miss the famous Dutch windmills? I couldn’t do it, that’s why my way leads me to Zaanse Shans... but three VIPs met me right at the gate thinking let me in or not...
I explained all importance of my mission and now I’m here...
Zaanse Schans is a part of the town of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the municipality of Zaanstad in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. Zaanse Schans was created in 1960 as a museum of village life in the 17th century. Shops, cottages, windmills, houses and historic buildings from all over the Zaan region have been relocated here to make a real village in which people can live and work. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and ca. 35 houses. All windmills have the names: "The Houseman" – Mustardmill, "The Crowned Poelenburg" – Sawmill, "The Cat" – Dyemill, "The Young Sheep" – Sawmill, "The Ox" – Oilmill, "The Seeker" – Oilmill, "The Cloverleaf" – Sawmill, "The Motley Crew" – Oilmill...
The local community is dedicated to preserving the traditional Dutch way of life, and Zaanse Schans is run as a piece of living history...
