            La monumentalidad de la ciudad de Tarragona (Spain), nos lleva al punto más elevado de la ciudad donde encontramos su catedral, cuya construcción se inició el año 1171, y consagrándose en el año 1331.
La catedral de Tarragona (Spain) es la de mayores dimensiones de Cataluña, y una de las joyas artísticas de la ciudad.
Está construida sobre los terrenos de un templo pagano dedicado al emperador Augusto. La Tarraco romana se convierte es una de las ciudades más importante de la Hispania romana. Después llegaron visigodos y musulmanes, hasta que en siglos posteriores mediante acuerdos eclesiásticos se comenzó en el siglo XII su construcción. El estilo artístico predominante es el románico y el gótico. 
Está considerada Monumento Nacional y Bien de Interés Cultural.

The monumentality of the city of Tarragona (Spain) takes us to the highest point of the city where we find its cathedral, whose construction began in the year 1171, and was consecrated in the year 1331.
The cathedral of Tarragona (Spain) is the largest in Catalonia, and one of the artistic jewels of the city.
It is built on the grounds of a pagan temple dedicated to Emperor Augustus. The Roman Tarraco becomes one of the most important cities in the Roman Hispania. Later, Visigoths and Muslims arrived, until in later centuries, through ecclesiastical agreements, its construction began in the 12th century. The predominant artistic style is Romanesque and Gothic.
It is considered a National Monument and Asset of Cultural Interest.
