976 – Iglesia Ntra Sra Asunción – Villasayas (Soria) – Spain.-

            La iglesia románica iniciada en el siglo XII de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción en Villasayas, provincia de Soria (Spain), es Monumento Nacional desde el año 1993.
Consta de una sola nave, siendo de gran belleza su galería porticada con una puerta central, y cuatro arcos a ambos lados con decoraciones vegetales en sus capiteles, además de estatuas columna. 
Encima de la puerta, una escena de la Anunciación con un ángel arrodillado, la Virgen y San José a su lado, mostrando su habitual ausencia de la escena románica.

The Romanesque church begun in the 12th century of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in Villasayas, province of Soria (Spain), it is a National Monument since 1993.
It consists of a single nave, with great beauty in its porticoed gallery with a central door, and four arches on both sides with plant decorations on their capitals, as well as column statues.
Above the door, a scene of the Annunciation with a kneeling angel, the Virgin and Saint Joseph at her side, showing their usual absence from the Romanesque scene.
