Great Birmingham Run 2019 from Calthorpe Park

            A look at the runners on the Great Birmingham Run 2019, on the Pershore Road, Edgbaston section between Edgbaston Road and Calthorpe Park.

They did not go into Cannon Hill Park or around Edgbaston Cricket Ground for various reasons (earlier they said a flood in Cannon Hill Park, later a suspicious vehicle in the area).

I also noticed the runners throwing their water bottles on the road and litter pickers putting them into bags.

A little less than a Half Marathon, they probably were only able to do 12.1 miles in the end.
