For Art Forum Berlin, the Berlin-based gallery Sparwasser HQ gives TG/C carte blanche for their booth at the art fair. TG/C creates a pilot version of his ultracontemporary format, ent- itled Gallery Ultrafast, in which he scans new- spapers of the day for images of cars, military, politicians and business people. All extracted images are presented on a wall in the booth, and TG/C invites the visitors to select images to wear as “ultimate fashion.” Upon selection, those images are ironed onto the visitors’ clot- hes. For the visitors it is the perfect opportu- nity to catch the latest fashion trend, whereas for TG/C it is a chance to debate the “now”.
