The Winds of Winter - a photo on Flickriver

            First we had weeks of stagnant air and fog here in NW Washington State.   The fall fog was loads of fun though for photography.  Then came... the abnormal, biting cold and wind spell!  This photo was taken in Puget Sound, near Pt. Defiance.  The name of the boat is quite apt, and it is also the only boat out there in "defiance" of this nasty weather.  Can you spot the one gull that is flying low and below the radar?  I was only out there on the dock with my tripod and ball head loosened up following this action for about 10 minutes.... and I about froze to death.
