Winter Day on the Narrows - a photo on Flickriver

            Here's a different view of the Narrows Bridges from up high above Pt. Defiance.  The air was freezing and crisp with the wind gusting and howling like crazy.  Some of the patterns in the water are from the incoming tide, but the darker areas are caused by the ever changing wind gusts.  The wind was coming out of the north and would have been making lots of white caps, but the tide was running in the same direction as the wind.  Not too many boats out there!
