Thru Hikers On Pacific Crest Trail - a photo on Flickriver

These folks started at the Mexican Border and have walked all the way to Southern Oregon. What an adventure!

but she has to quit for a bit because she killed her iphone during a wet stream crossing; but don't worry - her mom is going to send her a new one so she should be back online soon.

When I told them that they should look for their photo on Flickr when they got back she told me that she was blogging about their hike (at the link above) - but here's the cool thing: I had been reading her blog as it is linked from the PCTA page. I was trying to research this section of trail before we ran it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and hers was one of the few blogs linked from PCTA that was recently updated.

Small world, eh?

Today Becky K and I did a trail run on the Pacific Crest Trail. Today's run was from Dead Indian Road to Hyatt Lake. It included two big hills but overall it was more downhill than uphill (at least it felt that way) - total mileage was nineteen miles.
