Fatehpur Sikri and the Mausoleum of Saleem Chisti a Sufi Saint and the current Politics of HIndu Kamakhaya Temple vs Jama Masjid

            Fatehpur Sikri is a dusty dry and rather forgotten place of much historical importance. FAtehpur mean Place of Victory and it was so for the Mughal emperors. 

The capital of the Mughal empire was shifted to Fatehpur as Akbar the most famous Mughal emperor, so decreed.

Inside this fort there is a white marble mausoleum of a Sufi saint called Saleem Chisthi who was a descendent of Baba Farid.
Akbar got a boon here from the holy man and his son Jahangir was born.

Change to 2024 and the new politics of reviving the religious glory of Hinduism has it that the white mausoleum was infact a Hindu temple of Kamakyya Devi and the whole Jama Masjid has been built on that premises.

Court cases have begun to reclaim it. Politics will take their own time but the important lesson to know is that the Victor decides and does whatever they want to do.
A shole lot of temples and towns and villages and forts have been torn down to construct what ever the Victors wanted to build,

The Tomb of Salim Chishti is a mausoleum locating within the quadrangle of the Jama Masjid in Fatehpur Sikri, Uttar Pradesh, India. It enshrines the burial place of the Sufi saint, Salim Chisti, a descendant of Baba Farid, and who lived in a cavern on the ridge at Sikri
