Summer Solstice Rollers - a photo on Flickriver

            Made it out for the sunset on the longest day of the year and the first day of summer.  

Tashia and i had one of our good friends over for supper.  After supper we went out to get some rollers.  

It literally started down-pouring as we left my apartment.  By the time we got out of the city the rain had cleared and the sun nestled behind the clouds.  

Had a few pushes with decent results.  It was also really windy out but it didn't seem to phase the rig.  

We did have a bit of a situation with one of the suction cups and it lost its vaccuum.  My camera ended up hitting the deck and left a noteworthy battle scar in the lens hood of my Tokina.  

All in all, they turned out fairly decent.  Rochana had no idea waht she was in for but since she was a good sport, we all went for ice cream on me.
