Orange. - a photo on Flickriver

Orange.

Here is the second photo from the weekend, this one featuring orange smoke. I used what is called a cool-burn wire-pull smoke grenade from Enola Gaye.

We also set up a small piece of furniture to use as support and jumped to get separation. The smoke was captured live in the shot but also was composited from other shots, as well.

The smoke also came up and blocked the face which I was going to mask through but I decided I liked the way the smoke covered up the face and gives a bit of mystery to the image.

It was quite a bit of work in post but I really like the way it turned out. I will definitely be planning some more shoots soon with the three remaining smoke grenades.
