            Ibirapuera Park (in Portuguese Parque do Ibirapuera) is a major urban park in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It has a large area for leisure, jogging and walking, as well as a convention center. Its importance to São Paulo is comparable to the Central Park in New York City.
Inaugurated in 1954 for the 400 anniversary of the city with buildings designed by famous architect Oscar Niemeyer and landscape by designer Roberto Burle Marx, Ibirapuera Park covers an area of almost two square kilometers. It is the second biggest park in the city. Admission is free of charge.

O Obelisco Mausoléu aos Heróis de 32, também conhecido como Obelisco do Ibirapuera ou Obelisco de São Paulo, é um monumento funerário brasileiro que fica no Parque Ibirapuera.
Símbolo da Revolução Constitucionalista de 1932, o obelisco é o maior monumento da cidade e tem 72 metros de altura. A construção do monumento foi iniciada em 1947, inaugurado em 9 de julho de 1955, um ano após a inauguração do Parque do Ibirapuera, mas concluída em 1970.
O Obelisco é um projeto do escultor ítalo-brasileiro Galileo Ugo Emendabili e execução foi confiada ao engenheiro alemão radicado no Brasil, Ulrich Edler. Tombado pelos conselhos estadual e municipal de preservação de patrimônio histórico, o mausoléu do Obelisco guarda os corpos dos estudantes mortos durante a Revolução de 1932 e 713 ex-combatentes.
Para homenageá-los e preservar a memória da rebelião, há cenas bíblicas e passagens da história paulista feitas com pastilhas de mosaico veneziano.
Reforma do Obelisco
Em 9 de dezembro de 2014 o Obelisco do Ibirapuera foi reaberto para a população após reformas e modernização.
