Moody Seascape | Lyme Regis - a photo on Flickriver

            Here's one from the archives. I recently was delving into a few of my old hard drives, and found some images from a family holiday in Lyme Regis back in 2010, when I'd just bought my first DSLR, the Canon 550D.

Anyway, most of the images from that holiday weren't much to write home about, but a few of them were worth bringing into Lightroom for a quick once over. This is far enough back that it was before I'd even started shooting in RAW, so these were processed from the original JPG files.

I love the dark moody sky here and the wonderfully sharp and straight horizon line I have from the sea. Shot with the very humble EF-S 18-55mm kit lens that came with the 550D ...
