Esos momentos - These moments - a photo on Flickriver

            Hace ya tiempo que le oí decir a un fotógrafo que la fotografía es, sobre todo, memoria, que a él la fotografía le servía para poder recordar, porque su memoria era limitada, era olvidadizo, y en las fotografías dejaba detenido y reproducido aquel o aquellos instantes que deseaba recordar.
En esta fotografía queda detenido aquella puesta de sol. Sin ella, quizás recordaría haber estado allí, recordaría haber disfrutado de la belleza del momento, con la fotografía no sólo lo recuerdo, vuelvo a sentir el momento.

A long time ago I heard a photographer say that photography is, above all, memory, that photography helped him remember, because his memory was limited, he was forgetful, and in the photographs he stopped and reproduced that or those moments that I wanted to remember.
In this photograph that sunset is stopped. Without it, perhaps he would remember having been there, he would remember having enjoyed the beauty of the moment, with photography I not only remember it, I feel the moment again.
