American Mink (Neogale vison) - a photo on Flickriver

Oxbow Nature Refuge, Reno, Washoe Co, Nevada (January 29th, 2009). 17. Small city park along the Truckee River.

Female? (not very large). One of at least 2 minks at a small iced-over pond. Unafraid and curious, readily coming to chum [It turns out minks are very fond of sardines in tomato sauce.].
