Annual Grove Santa Photo (DD13-2) - a photo on Flickriver

            2013 December Dailies #2.

Q. Why did you shoot this in November?
A. Because they started Christmas in October.

Q. Why does this look just like last year?
A. Because the same company puts up all the mall Christmas trees in SoCal, and they are not grown as much as they are built (see previous photo on the subject).

Q. Was this Santa copied after the archetypal one in Beverly Hills?
A. Heck yeah. A good design is a good design.

Q. Why are they always shooting at Santa (see lower left)?
A. This is water squirted out of the Grove fountain. It's quite compelling to watch the end of its upward travel, just before it starts to fall back again.  Very spacey.
