The Smallest Thing I've Photographed

            I saw this small black dot on one of the plants I was shooting and wondered what it was as initially I couldn't even make out that it was a bug of some type as it's about the size of a grain of sand. I mounted up all my extension tubes and went in for a look. This is the critter that I saw and with a bit of enhancement and enlargement this was the shot I got.  I'm thinking some kind of mite but really no idea.
