            TodayI spent a very enjoyable day shooting with fellow Leica Street photographer Stephen Cosh in Glasgow . 

Billy was sitting hoping some passers by might drop some change into his cup. I crouched down next to him and told him about my project of collecting portraits on the street of homeless and rough sleepers and although a little a little hesitant he agreed . He told me that he had been homeless for 7 years now and looked like he had seen some hard times . I asked him if he had a place to sleep and he said that currently he was sleeping in an unused warehouse but now some polish guys had taken over it , during the winter months he could sleep at a mission  where they set up porta cabins with mattresses on the floors. I felt sad for Billy I wished him good luck and dropped him £7 for letting me take his picture.
