            Pinhole 0,14 ø mounted over a copal lens board on linhof technica. Ilford FP4 9X12. Ilfotec developer.
well, that's the story:
The space between the film plate and the minimum length of the lens in my linhof techinca was near twofold the optimal focal length for that size of hole. So I've made a do-it-yourself recessed copal board using a plastic cup of a milk bottle which fit the largest hole of the board and allowed to have the pinhole at its correct position. The result was disappointing, but at the same time curious and appealing. The glossy surface of the cup generated the mirror appearance of the outline of the film, and a straight line of light near the horizon. The length to diameter ratio of the cup was too small and it worked as a flu filter responsible of the heavy vignette effect. The blur of some poppies is instead made by the wind with the long exposure (there was no wind at all for all the time before I exposed the film).
But I like this picture.
