H-A-D Coaches of Shotts, Glasgow Express, 1:76 scale

            The latest arrival, joining the sole coach in my H-A-D fleet is a Plaxton Premiere coach. Having had most of its original livery removed, I set about applying the H-A-D fleetnames, in addition to School Bus signs and having a go at some weathering. With the use of weathering powders and varnish, the model has gained a layer of grimy road dirt as well as pockets of rust around the wheel arches and emergency doors. H-A-D were a relatively small independent operator with the name coming from the names of the founders - Harry - And - Deborah Law of Shotts. The company disappeared before reviving successfully as Blue Bus of Shotts. Given this there is a significant lack of reference pictures for future H-A-D models and so the Premiere is likely to be the last addition to the fleet, though I may consider making a small Blue Bus fleet in future.
