Dundee street scene, Strathtay Stagecoach, Travel Dundee.

            Recently I added two further Kingsway Models kits to my collection - High Street Shops and Half Relief Block of Flats. I’ve used both here to create a basic street scene. Set in Dundee, Tayside, this diorama features both out the box and code 3 adapted models of both Strathtay Stagecoach and Travel Dundee. Also included are models of Tayside Police vehicles, again adding local touches. Both Leyland Olympians have had Strathtay Buses legal lettering applied. One of these Olympians arrived to me with paint missing from the front nearside corner, this has been covered with weathering powders to give a rusted look.

Strathtay Stagecoach, fleet no 18506, SP06 EGK, Dennis Trident Alexander ALX400. Service 57 Dundee to Perth Bus Station via Blairgowrie. 

Strathtay Stagecoach fleet no 2100, DBV100W, Leyland Olympian, ex Code 1 Stagecoach in Lancashire/Ribble. Now Code 3 with Lancashire markings removed and Strathtay Scottish legal lettering applied. Service 20 Kirriemuir to Dundee Seagate Bus Station via Forfar.
