Police Scotland, British Red Cross, Diecast Models

Another photoshoot to show the newly arrived 1:64 scale Diecast model: Police Scotland, Roads Policing Unit (RPU) Audi A6 traffic car. This is the first PolScot model in my collection, all the others represent legacy forces from before the merger. The real car, registration mark SV12 DPZ, was based in the former Grampian force area and worked as a general traffic unit. It would eventually end up used for escorting abnormal loads, still driven by Roads Policing Officers.

The Land Rover has been previously shared here and represents the British Red Cross, it is marked as being a Search and Rescue Ambulance, however they can be used as First Aid Posts and assist in Emergency Response situations. This model is without a Vehicle Registration Mark (VRM), however a tiny fleet marking is visible on the bonnet or “hood” - F18.
