Leave It, Tony, It's Not Worth It... (2)

A re-shoot of my Iron Man Vs. Cybermen photo. The original was taken on a Canon G3 compact, and the tiny sensor struggled to cope with the contrast on the shiny figures. This shot, an HDR composite taken with a Nikon D50, holds detail in the highlights much better,

Normally I just replace a photo when I make a technical improvement, but the original garnered so many hits, faves and comments that it would have felt like cheating to put a slightly different one in its place.
