Two lost icons

            In May 2013, Amtrak train 501 arrives at Vancouver, Washington.  My son was warming up for a Little League game at a nearby park, so I snuck away to the depot for a few minutes to see NRPC 501 make its station stop.

BNSF replaced the cantilever signal bridge and its triple searchlight signals around two years after I recorded this image. The F59 pulling the train went to Chicago's Metra late in 2018.  ETTS.
