After all the pomp and circumstance at Quinlan Park had ceased, it was time for the train to head back to Nahant for the evening. I was a bit disappointed that the sun didn't work with us, but enough of the sunlight shone through the high clouds to provide some warmth on the scene. I'd stopped into Front Street for a Cherry Bomb Blonde while waiting for the party to end and was just a bit late getting to the bridge where some 10-15 others had already set up. Despite that, I was able to get the spot I wanted for my lens and preferred framing.* I was also hoping for a bit more smoke, but I think I like being able to see all the folks lining the tracks to take it in.

*The thing I like about this app, is that it's a very useful scouting tool and scouring through Erik's images was particularly helpful for the QCA portion of the trip.
