Tomatina di Buñol

            Più di 40.000 persone hanno partecipato al colossale lancio di pomodori per la tradizionale festa della Tomatina, a Buñol, vicino Valencia. La manifestazione é una delle piú singolari in Spagna, e si celebra ogni anno in occasione delle feste di San Lluis Bertran e Mare de Déu dels Desamparats. Quest'anno si celebrava la sessantessima (60ma) edizione della Tomatina, e molti turisti stranieri, arrivati soprattutto da Giappone, Corea del sud, Belgio, Australia, Stati Uniti, Canada, Italia, Francia e Germania, si sono ritrovati nel simpatico «gazpacho umano» che si celebra ogni ultimo mercoledì d'agosto. Per i partecipanti alla battaglia «in salsa rossa» il comune ha messo a disposizione ben 500 docce
