My idea/plan for this camera in 2018 is to become more proficient at understanding light, and to learn in detail the principals of incident, reflective and zone methods. I'm good going meterless outside in daylight but would like to do better with ambient or unusual  lighting situations. I realize the hightlights are blown in his white fur and I am sure the other half of his face would have been too dark otherwise. If I shoot this again I will make sure there is no direct sunlight - so one lesson learned :-)
