Meet Aster

Aster is the new cat of the house since April 24th.

I adopted him from the "Toronto Cat Rescue". It was love at first sight just seeing his online mugshot. He came to me damaged from a hoarding situation at 5 years old.

I knew it was going to take time for this little abused cat to come out of his shell but we persevered. We achieved a monumental moment of trust 6.5 months later in which I could actually pet him and scratch behind his ears.

It's been a journey and I feel that belly rubs are just around the corner, as are better pictures!
