Bride and photographer - a photo on Flickriver

            From the first wedding I have crashed in quite a while, although I have been thinking lately of doing this a bit more often. This was taken on the grounds of the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple on a late afternoon in January. I wish I had had my zoom lens with me, but I got some good results from some distance away with my 85mm f/1.8D. 

Shortly after taking this picture, I got into my car and drove away. By that time, the photographer and the couple had moved into the middle of the street, where she was taking some pictures of them with the temple as the backdrop. As I drove past, I rolled down my window and said I understood, since I was a photographer, too. That evoked some chuckles. A minute or so later, it occurred to me to go back and take a picture of them going about their business in the street, but at that point they already were on their way back to the temple grounds.
