Ghosts of war - Duivendrecht; Waiting for freedom

Years ago I found negatives on a fleamarket, I scanned them and put them online;

I then found some of the spots in the photos and made pictures there, trying to find out more about who took them/
My friend Kees made several as well, this one was made by him.

Here you see the Molenkade in Duivendrecht, may 1945, people are waiting for the liberators.
